Meet Kathey Galley MacLearn and her husband Paul. Kathleen is the daughter of William Galley of the Peter branch and lived in California. After retiring from 44 years of church ministry they felt the call to continue to serve God by going to the Baja Strip in Mexico.

Person of the Month – “A Man of Faith” Marco, a 44 yr old convert, clean from drugs and alcohol since January 09 – He makes the statement that “God Is on His Side.” Marco, since the age of 14 has spent 20 years behind bars. But, while there, he taught himself to read. The Bible has been his main source of reading material. He has developed a strong faith in God’s provision and protection. Recently he was telling us that , as a night watchmen near a bakery, he saw the owner of the bakery go by his guard station and said to the Lord, “God, if you are on my side, have that baker bring me something to eat. The baker passed through his guard station a couple of times without comment, but later returned and asked Marco if one of the other guards was present. Marco said, “No. It was his night off.” The baker then said, “Would you like to have this loaf of French bread?” Marco said, “Thank You Lord, You are on my side.” Marco, whom we have learned to love, is a man of great faith.

Teaming up with the Celebrate Recovery Program in the NW US A team from Nampa , Idaho is considering partnering with us in this much needed program. Pray with us as we work to set this in motion. Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-Centered 12-Step Recovery Program, Based on 8 Recovery Principles derived from the Beatitudes in Matthew Chap. 5. We deal with many who are addicted to alcohol and drugs. God is helping us as we mentor these people who are very special to us and to Jesus.

Shoes for Kid’s program - ”BABY STEPS” God is using Cory and Linda, a couple from our church, who manage a boot factory in MX, in selling large orders of boots to countries in Europe. He has pledged to buy a pair of shoes for orphans. “Sell a pair of boots, buys a pair of shoes.” Children’s shoes will be distributed to orphanages in our area and around Mexico .

Answer to Prayer Since returning from The General Assembly, Kathy’s physical condition has improved. Thank you for your prayers. The doctors found an infection in her colon that was caused from the antibiotics the doctors had given her. With the right medication she is feeling so much better. God continues to show his mercy, love, and provision. Thank You JESUS!

Ulrich Galle of Germany

Ulrich Galle is a cousin that lives in Germany. This is a picture of Ulrich and his wife taken this past winter 2003. He has been very helpful to the family in making connections with the American Peter Galley family. Harry Galley and he worked together. He has also been very helpful with the DNA testing. He has offered to be a tester for the German branch. Ulrich speaks and writes some English and has been key in translating German for us also.
