Many people have contacted me wanting to know if they are related, but we are unsure, so until we can connect or confirm they are not related I'm listing people here on this page. There is a chance some of these might be related to each other but not to our lines.  DNA testing would help confirm that.

Ernst Galle of Idar/Oberstein Germany

Submitted by Sylvia
anyone with information should contact her at RINELSK@d11.org

My mother was born Anita Lotte Galle in Frankfurt, Germany on May 2, 1930.  She later married a US Army officer (my father).  This branch of the Galle family lived in and around Idar/Oberstein in Germany.  An Aunt of mine had some sort of a geneology chart made years ago.  Our ancestor was supposed to have been a Protestant dissenter and crossed the border from France in the 1700's.  My grandfather was a Kurt Ernst Galle, and his father was Ernst Galle
