Peter Galle' (below) is the son of Peter Galle/Galli 
who migrated from Switzerland to Germany as a young 
man. See Switzerland for the earlier Galli line.

Individual biographical text for Peter Galle II

I have tried to approximate the birth and marriage dates for Peter plus the birth dates, which I 
do not know, on his children by the genealogy  rule of 15 months. HDG 1997.I do not believe
that Peter and Agnes had 6 girls in a row then 3 sons. So, it is also my feelings that Peter, who migrated to America could possibly be born in the late 1730's. If you place Peter's fathers marriage at age 25 he may of been married in 1723 or later, but we know that Barbara was born in 1724, so I believe that he was married early in life. HDG 1997.
      The 1709 Weierhof Congregation At Erbesbudesheim lists at Farm 2 Peter Galle, age 45 
(1664) wife, daughters?, Peter Galle, age 9 (1700) and Johann Galle, age 6 (1703)
Reference: Christian Galle wrote to Kurt Galle in the 1950's about the Galle line and said: "It is said that the nine children that Peter and Agnes Kolb Galle had, were all born in Erbesbudesheim, because the father started farming the Geistermuhle only in 1734. The mill is situated close to Uffhofen, where the Wiesbach comes out a small, rich in forests and petty valley and flows out in the open province."

			Uffofen,Rhenish Hesse, Ger. He was a miller in the 
			"New" Geistermuhle at Uffhofen 
				
	   Anna Margaretha Galle' b. about 1730 she married Johann Adam Weber
             		 about 1753
				
	  Jakob Jacob Galle' b.11 Dec. 1732 d. 06 June 1801 
			Uffhofen,Rhenish Hesse, Ger.a preacher of the 
			Mennonite congregation at Erbes-Budesheim.
			He married Anna Hahn 13 Sept. 1754 Rheinland-Pfalz Germany

			d. in Mannheim, Goden-Wurttenberg, Ger.  She married
			Zerger about 1756
				
	   Peter Galle'III b. about 1736 Uffhofen, Rhenish Hesse, Ger.
			d. about Sept 1781 Donegal Twp, America.  He married
